In our continuous effort to enhance service and information provided to members of the public service pension plan and group insurance benefit plans, we are happy to announce the addition of a new audience.

The Survivor/Dependant audience now appears in the Audience menu of this site. Here, survivors and dependants can access information concerning the following life events:

• Becoming a Survivor
  This life event provides information to public service pension plan survivors about their benefits upon the death of a plan member. Information on the group insurance benefit plans in which a survivor may enrol, if certain eligibility requirements are met, is also provided.
• Remarrying or Establishing a New Common-Law Relationship
  This life event contains information on how remarrying or establishing a common-law relationship affects the pension benefits payable to survivors and their entitlement to group insurance benefit plan coverage.

Additional life events will soon be posted to the new Survivor/Dependant audience. Stay tuned.
